Both the IGI and ScotlandsPeople confirm that Robert Hunter and Janet Henderson were married at Tingwall, Shetland on 15 Sep 1831.  The IGI shows two children born to the couple; Adam 28 Oct 1834 Nesting, Shetland and Joan Henderson Hunter 12 Feb 1843 St Nicholas, Aberdeen.
The 1841 Census of Aberdeen has the following:

1841 St Clements, Aberdeen
Yeats Lane
John SIM  18  Blacksmith Journeyman  b. England
Janet HUNTER  32  b. Outside the County
Cathrine  "       10           "         "          "
Adam       "         6           "         "          "
James       "        2            "         "         "
William HENDERSON  40  Labourer       "

Hello

With reference to the above census - on the IGI - I see a James Hunter born to a Robt. Hunter and a J. Henderson on 25 Aug 1838, Tingwall, Shetland.
