Hullo Geniecolgan,
Thank you for your reply to my request. I am not very sure if he is the one that I am looking for because the Mother of the one I am after is supposed to be named Mary. Isn't it a tough assignment when there are so-o-o many with the same Christian Name born in the same Quarter.?? :-))

How sure are you of the 1888 birth date?
I've searched various combinations of James Walker, 1888 date, Lambeth birthplace, Mary mother but this is the nearest I've found:

Thanks a million Jojo. Looks as though you have sorted out my problem for me because according to my Father James, his Dad was a Confectioner, and I know that my Father had a Sister named Jane, but I didn't realise that Jane was younger than him.
