Posting my McBEAN interests,

William McBEAN  married Catherine McDONALD on 28 November 1796 at Inverness

William and Catherine had the following children,
all born in Inverness:
  • James, christened on 21 November, 1797
    Mary, christened 6 January 1800 (McBAIN)
    Donald, christened 1 May 1802
    William, christened 1804
    Alexander, christened 25 June 1806
    Jean, christened 15 December 1809

The 1841 census shows the family living in Wester Haugh, in Inverness: 
Donald McBEAN, aged 35, woollen dyer b Inverness
Alexander McBEAN, aged 30, mason b Inverness
Catherine McBEAN, aged 60, b Inverness
Jean McBEAN, aged 20, female servant b Inverness

On 24 July, 1850, in Hutchesontown in the Gorbals in Glasgow, Donald married Graham McKENZIE (female).
Graham, it is believed, was born about 1829, in Nairn.  Nairn is a coastal village, situated on the Moray Firth, not far from Inverness. 

The 1851 census, has them living at 10 Milton Lane, Glasgow, as lodgers with Andrew and Mary HALBORT and their daughter, Jane.  Donald, aged 45, was a dyer and Graham, aged 22, was a white sed… sewer.

The following children were born to Donald & Graham in Scotland:
    [li]Jane, born on 10 November 1851 in Inverness.
    Catherine, born on 21 January, 1853 in Ballachulish in Argyll.

Donald and his wife, Graham and their two children, as well as Donald’s brother, Alexander, took up the chance to move to  Australia on 9 August, 1855 and landed in Moreton Bay in Queensland on 12 January, 1856.
More children were born in Queensland, Australia:
    [li]Elizabeth Graham, was born on 23 November 1856
    William, was born on 15 December, 1858.
    twins, Annie and Donald, were born on 5 August, 1861.
    Elizabeth Ann, was born on 19 March 1864
    Graham McKenzie, later known as Ellen, was born on 24 April 1866
    Benjamine, was born on 29 September 1868.
    twins, John and James Alexander, were born on 13 February, 1871
    Mary Florence Whitehouse, was born on 27 May 1874.[li][/li]

The photo is probably of sisters, Jane and Elizabeth Ann
