Reginald was born in 1900 in Newcastle under Lyme and I am seeking his parents and siblings. I would appreciate it if someone could see if he appears with his family in the 1901 census.
Many thanks
Kind regards
Graham

Hi Graham, If you look on the Staffordshirebmd site, you will see tha this birth was registered in the Audley area, on the Newcastle under Lyme district: www.bmsgh.org/cgi/birthind.cgi?county=staffordshire I looked for the family on the 1901 census but couldn't track them down - sorry. Perhaps your best bet is to order the birth certificate, and go from there. Kind regards + good luck, Paulene

Thanks Suz. I think it is a mistranscription. Does it give the age of Frederick senior?

Interesting, too, because I looked for a possible marriage and came up with one in 1896 for a frederick jervis, with possible brides sarah or ellen. It's looking good! Paulene

Suz, There's a birth for a Frederick Jervis born in the Nantwich Registration District of Cheshire in Dec qtr of 1874 - looked at the towns in the registration district, but not terribly sure which it is. Probably one of the Ws. What do you think? Paulene

Many thanks - thats brillaint. If that record in 1881 is for the same Frederick, his parents would be Samuel and Emma. Please can you send me the 1891 deatils that you found?
Many thanks
