I have this photo of three children and know one is Maud who was born in 1897, the boy is either John born 1895 or Thomas born 1900 and the other girl is either Ada born 1893 or Rachel born 1898. A date might help me sort out who is who. I know the quality is very poor but any help would be appreciated.

Thanks. The only other picture I have of Maud is a very old woman but looking at the face it looks like the youngest is Maud the one with the dog. Which would make the photo around 1901. What do you think

By the look of the length of girl's skirt I would guess at 1905-10.

Thanks Maud would be between 8 and 13 then in the picture. The little girl looks too young to be Rachel so maybe there's a sibling I've missed. Boy looks similar age don't you think to oldest girl?

The little girl looks about 6-7 but does look like Maud with that round face
& high cheekbones.The older girl looks to be about 13-14, I wouldn't think
an older girl would have a big bow in her hair like that.The boy looks about the
same age and appears to be in long trousers. A younger lad would more likely
be in shorts.
There is certainly more than 4 years difference between the 2 girls.

Yes I think you are right Maud is the little girl and the siblings are Ada and John which would put the date as about 1904/5 which would fit. If only my grandmother had put all the names life would have been a lot easier. I think maybe I should start dating my photos.
