Birth Look Up Rogers

I have Robert Rogers aged 21 marrying Elizabeth Robinson  on the 26/11/1892  marriage certificate states he is a miner and Residence at time of Marriage is 52 (looks like) Bu****  Street Father's name is Robert Rogers  Miner  Married St Mark, South Shields Durham  Trying to find birth details  can anyone help

The previous look ups were born 1873 approx.  However with the marriage certificate stating that Robert was 21 when he married in november 1892  he was obviously born 1871   Thats why I think the previous information was not correct

Do you have your family on the 1901 census?  I see on the government site that the Robert ROGERS (age 28 coal miner hewer born Lanchester) that I posted on the earlier census may have a wife Elizabeth age 29 in 1901 born Ryhope, Durham.  I have only found them in the index but you may wish to purchase a copy if you think they may be yours.  It is possible, is it not, that Robert lied and said that he was 21 at marriage when he wasn't?  It would have saved a lot of trouble because he wouldn't have needed parents' permission if he was 21.  Also, perhaps he didn't want to appear younger than his wife as he does in the 1901 census.

Do you know if your Robert & Elizabeth had any children by 1901?

I had assumed that the ROGERS that I posted from 1891/1881/1871 were the ones that you wanted because they were at the address that you specified.  Robert ROGERS was 8 and 18 that the time the census was taken so may have been born in 1872 as well as 1873 if we are to take that as correct - it isn't always.

My gran was born in 1912 but she was one of 15  I know that her oldest sister was Annie who died in 1985 aged 92 which means she was born 1893 approx.  There were others before 1901  but my gran does not know there names. 
The wife Elizabeth Robinson  is the correct one.  I have a list of her family on the 1881 census.

Robert 1 b.Scotland

I can tell that they are all on the same page but I can't tell if they are all the same family or how they are related to each other because you have to pay and that is something that you will have to do if you want to see the image.

If you think that this is your family then I would think that it is the same ROGERS family as in the 1891/1881/1871 census.

I can't comment on the Elizabeth ROBINSON in the 1881 census that you mention ie. whether she is the same as the one married to this Robert ROGERS above as you haven't given the details from the marriage or the 1881 census.
