Are these records available on-line, or does that mean I have to visit the archives in Edinburgh?

It's a good excuse to have a holiday and see the sites of Edinburgh, as I live just west of London.

Not online. They'll be in Edinburgh. I've spent a lot of time there looking through Session records trying to find just a mention of my ancestors. I didn't find much but learnt a lot about the areas in which they lived and the people who they probably knew  Smiley
