who was Joseph Wilson b. abt 1812?

Any ideas, please?
Joseph Wilson (Wilton in 1871 census) said in 1851 and 1871 that he was born at St James Westminster about 1812.
No baptisms in St James in IGI look likely, but there is an entry in IGI for one Joseph s/o Joseph Wilson and Mary Ann at St Anns Soho. My Joseph married Jane Bill there on June 12 1831. The same entry in IGI suggested a sister bapt. at St Ann c 1807/8'. I looked at St Anns bapt. registers at Westminster Archives, from there to several years past, but they were not there. The IGI entry was not a Parish Register but put in "by a member," which may be a bit suspicious!
Any ideas where I can go from there? Wilsons are more than 10 a penny.

Sorry I cannot find original post for Jane so am replying on the Joseph one.

On IGI there is a  Birth and Baptism at Stafford as John and Elizabeth married there it is possible

Jane Bill Born 14th April 1807  Bap 1st May 1807 at St Marys Stafford
Parents John and Elizabeth

It is possible that this Jane died and the next year they had a daughter called her Jane and that is the one you had

I assume that the first Jane Bill died and the second is mine. It's not likely that they would name 2 the same who were born so very close together unless the second was a replacement for the first. The same parents had 2 John close together, too.
