I have them in 1881 via Family search.org ; RG11 0244/81/19 20 Eden Grove, London, Middx Joseph Rogers head 61 Whitechapel Ann Rogers wife 52 Whitechapel Adelaide Rogers dau 28 st lukes james Rogers son 17 Eliza Rogers dau 12 other children ; Joseph c1850, Margret c1850, Alfred c1854, Charles 1855, Daniel c1860, Esthan c1870. all st lukes, Middx, London. I believe that Joseph Rogers c1820 and Ann Margret Sheperd married 1847, Shoreditch, 1847, although I have no proof of this as yet, parents of Joseph ; William Rogers c1790 London ? and Mary (unknown). I would appreciate any help in this matter. all the best Pete Rogers

Hi Tati and all thanks very much for all the census info, really great, the year of birth does throw up some confusion though, I do know that the 1841 and 1851 census's were rounded off to the nearest 5 years but thought that the later ones were more accurate. Tati is there any chance of checking to see if they are still around in 1891 ? I shall place a separate post to see if anyone can find the marriage in 1847 at Shoreditch,of Joseph snr and Ann Shepherd,,, although after 1832 I should be able to find it on Free BMD, get the certificate and hopefully find more details on their parents and get a generation further. all the best Pete
