how to find a death............
« on: Sunday 29 June 08 20:06 UTC (UK) »

finally i have found my gg grandmother WAS indeed in an aylum in the 1920's and have copies of records - what a day that was!!

i want now to locate her death.  i only know this was after 1928, but probably in the 30's or 40's.  the indexes are not transcribed - so would i trawl through the death indexes or maybe could i look at obituaries/ newspaper - how would i go about this.  they lived in cornwall i think.  her name is ada seymour.

Hi Sara,
You can do it by looking through each year and quarter on ancestry.co.uk - do you have access?
I don't suppose you know the district/part of Cornwall where she died, do you? And her approximate age at death, please.
