waterford look up.

when looking up the 1911 census it gave my g/uncile age as 24   but looking at his army record he died  Oct 1914 age 25in france  would be grateful for any help on this

It's possible that either or both records are incorrect. Have you found him in 1901 census to compare the age?

I found him in the 1901 census they have him at 14yrs  I also have information from waterford Heritage servicethey gave his DOB 17/9/ 1887 ?? thats all the info /I have on him.

You have the birth certificate which agrees with both 1901 and 1911 census so it looks as though Army record is not correct.
