Calcewaithe Deanery Burials 1782-1830
« on: Monday 30 June 08 18:45 BST (UK) »

Anyone have the above?
Have Lucy Ashton 2.04.1814 age 66 St. Margaret's Saleby (FHS Online) and looking for husband's burial John Ashton (bpt Sausthorpe 9.12.1739) -- ran out of money on FHS!
Last child from marriage bpt 1782 hence guessing at 1782-1830

Thanks Barry
Take it you don't have 'pre' 1813?

Whoops - another senior moment (2 many these days!)
Referred to wrong page on 'my' ancestry records!
Earlier reference of last child's baptism 1782 correct (not 1819) when father John would be 42/43.
With Lucy buried 1814 at Saleby thought a good chance John also buried there (Saleby in Calcethwaite deanery?)
So back to pre 1813 as Barry says none fits post 1813....unless John died elsewhere? If alive he would have been 75/76 when Lucy buried in 1814
