I am looking for Thomas Clifford b. sometime 1803-1811 (he was elastic with his dates on documents). I have located two possibilities. The first was son of Thomas Clifford and Sarah Taylor b.1803 at Strensham. I can find no further trace of this one in the records available on the internet. The second was the son of Emmanuel and Ann Clifford b. 1811 at Croome and possibly dying in 1812. Since this record was submitted by an LDS member on the IGI, I would like to check the accuracy. I am wondering if anyone has access to the records for Strensham and Croome as they are not available online and would be willing to check them for me.
The Thomas that I am interested in was sentenced to be transported for theft (stealing sheep) at Pirton and Powick in 1830. He only just escaped hanging. He became a successful farmer in NSW fathering a large family.
