Hi!
Iwould need an 1841/1851 lookup please for a Kent family originally from Cornwall but who may have moved away...
Here is the info I have :
John KENT born abt 1809 in St Dennis, Cornwall. Wife Mahala Kent born abt 1816 in St Mewan, Cornwall They had at least 2 children : John Henry Couch Kent christened in St Stephen in Brannel, Cornwall, in 1838. Francis Couch Kent christened in St Dennis, in Cornwall, in 1839.
In advance, many thanks for your help.
Steph.

Oh right, this would match with the fact their eldest son married a Londoner.
Do you have the household please? All this is so exciting!
Thank you very very much.

Sorry, I just saw the address, I'm so excited I hadn't noticed.
Could someone please tell me where about St Mary Lambeth is though? I live in France so I'm not too familiar with the British geography...
Steph.

Sorry Barbara, we posted at the same time.
You did write the address, sorry I hadn't noticed it.
Also, could someone please tell me where about St Mary Lambeth is though? I live in France so I'm not too familiar with the British geography...
And yes, if you can find them on 1851 and 1861 census, it would be simply amazing.
Steph.

Lambeth / Kennington are in the 'metropolis', but south of the Thames in what was once classed as the County of Surrey.
Use www.multimap.com toi display and move around the area ..

John Henry C Kent married Mary Ann Fair in 1866 in Mile End. He was my great great grandad and the rumour says he was on a ship, some people say he was a fisherman, others a captain, but maybe it was after 1861?! Does this match with something (maybe at least the location?)
