Farnham is in Hants and Birmingham well we all know where that is! nowher enear Hants so yes maybe not his death.

there was another William Norberry born circa the same time i think in Cheshire though not Hants and not West Midland (area)

I couldnt see them in 1861 , must be transcribed udner some weird and wonderful translation!

so where was William in 1861 then?

if he was away for long periods as the census suggests it would explain the age gap between Elizabeth and her siblings 7 years and then 3 years between the next.

i wonder if he was indexed as W N

Hello to you all.
Sorry I haven't been on line for a whole day. I apologise as it is my Hunt. Sad
I started a new job the day the hunt started which is typical.
After being made redundant at Christmas what a day to start work. Shocked  I have been going through paperwork etc..
I really do appreciate you all taking time out to help me.

Hi Deb
Thank you for your help. As I have said before I appreciate all the hard work and time that is being put into this.
I can't find William on the 1891 census. Looked under Norberry/ bery as I know you have but no joy.
There are so many names that it can get a bit confusing as to who is who.
I didn't realise I had so may Norbury relations.
Has anyone come across an Albert Edgar Norbury. Hope I haven't missed him being posted on here by anyone.
I notice he is a witness on my great grandfathers Willaim Harry Norburys' marriage cert in 1892 to Minnie Eliza.

There appears to be a Coventry branch to the family as the only Alberts' I can find appear to be from there.
There is a William Norbury born 1831 on the 1891 census but born Coventry / convict.
Going back for a closer look.
