Could anyone help me find members of the Gillen/Gillion/Gillin family in 1901?
The family I am searching for is as follows:
Martin Gillen born abt 1844 in Ireland
Martha Gillen dob not known possibly born in Leeds.(wife to Martin)
George William Gillen born abt 1894 Leeds (son of Martin and Martha)
Mary Gillen born abt 1898 Leeds (dau of Martin and Martha)

Martha was Martin's third wife.  He was known to have moved backwards and forwards between Leicestershire and Leeds.  I am having major problems finding the family and would appreciate any help.  Prior to 1901 they are well documented.  Thank you.  Jean Herbert

Just noticed for your info

Martin 1847 birth place given as ...Green Hammerton, Yorkshire, England ( Not Ireland)?

Martha  wife born 1861 Leeds Yorkshire

All the Schofield children were born Hunslet Yorkshire

All the Gillett children stated as born Hunslet yorkshire except the elder one Martin who was born Leeds

Martin Gillen was a bigger liar than Tom Pepper.  He claimed different places of birth on several records but was actually born in Ireland but not known where.  If you ever find out, you would make me a happy bunny, this man was like Walter Mitty.

On here http://www.yorkshirebmd.info/ you can find his marriage to Martha A schofield in 1891.  Also what seems to be other children.

Martha A Schofield born 1860 Wortley

Martin Gillen's parents were:
James Gillan born abt 1817 Ireland and his wife Mary born abt 1820 Ireland.
First found on 1851 census in Charles Street Leeds, James was a lodger there (not certain if it was family or not).  His wife and children were visitors in Baxters Yard at the same time.

I really hoped that the kind person who found the baptism had it correct, my heart leapt in my mouth but my fault for not supplying parents.
