I understand that there exists a set of fiche covering C. of E. marriages in the county.
I am particularly interested in the marriage of Thomas Straughan & Barbara Wintrip, both of the Wooler/Chillingham area, which likely occurred in the early 1830s. Any other Straughan/Straffen marriages would be of interest also.

I don't see a Thomas Straughan marriage to anyone named Barbara in Northumberland 1813-183. I also looked up Barbara Wintrip - no marriage there.
There are many Straughan/Straffen marriages.

Thanks, Janis. At least I can note what has been checked and the result. Thomas is my brick wall - I know he was born in Wooler (DUR census 1841+); I know nothing of sibs or parents.
By the way, I noticed your Grey/Gray interest and will PM you as soon as I look up my details.
