Three Brothers Knight out on the road...almost!
|
Hi Kath...
No photo
Also - you might have more luck posting on the armed forces board. Those military gurus love nothing better than squinting at badges on grainy old photos

Hi Milly
If it doesn't attach, make sure it's saved in one of the forms listed when you press the attach button.
Also make sure the file is smaller than the 500kb permitted. If not, open it in your imaging software, and click the "Save for web" or similar option, or similar. In my software, it's on the file dropdown mmenu.
Follow the instructions. You might have to reduce the size again.
Good luck!

Hello Kath, My name is David and I am a researcher for The XXth The Lancashire Fusiliers web site.
If you want answers to your question then log on to our web site, lancs-fusiliers.co.uk.
Click on the message box, this will take you to our message page, look for any entries made by Joe Eastwood. He is our web site editor. Click on his name in blue and you will be able to send him an e-mail where he will help you if he can. It would be a good idea to send him any information that you have no matter how vague and attach any photos you may have.
All the best in your search.
Dave

Hi,
It would probably be better if you started a new thread and posted it on the Armed Forces board:
http://www.rootschat.com/forum/index.php/board,300.0.html
You will probably get a better response.
Kind regards, Maureen

On his right sleeve is a MG (for machine gunner) 'skill at arms' badge over a single stripe for Lance Corporal.
If he became more proficient he would have earned extra stars to go over the MG badge.
