Just tried SP myself on the free search and can't find them.
Have run out of credits after a little moment of madness downloading 3 wills and getting some entries earlier today.
What we need is some kind soul to pinpoint them in the 1871 census forward - to clarify if they remained in Scotland
Good luck.
Regards, Steve :O)

1881 Scotlands people census has
Archibald Braynian,(a mis-type for Braynion?) born c. 1842, Braco. Perthshire, a general labourer, living at Clackmannan with his wife, Elizabeth, born 1844 at Blackford, Perthshire.
Their children include William and Elizabeth Mather Braynian both aged 14.
If you check these twins on Family Search, Archibald Braynion and Elizabeth Miller are given as their parents.
(As the record for the Archibald born at Muthill in 1844 on Family Search is only a submitted record, perhaps he really was born in 1842 at Braco?)

Archibald was still alive at the 1891 census, but unlike the 1881 details earlier, I can't find the equivalent record on Scotlands people - have tried both surname spellings listed below and a few variations - no luck!
(At 1891 the children are as given in 1881, with Clackmannan as birthplace and Archibald's wife is "born at Blackford", so I think this must be your family?)

Oh yes, Monica - that's brilliant - "McN" must be for "MacNiven?

The 'McN' is as showing on the index for Archibald. You would think it stood for McNiven...but as always, you can't be certain until you look at the actual cert...but it does look likely
