Hi,
Could anyone please help out..I am looking for the death records of two brothers born to Irish parents Thomas and Kate Mona(g)han...

John Joseph Mona(G)han b St. Louis Missouri in 1862

Thomas Mona(G)han b. St. Louis Missouri in 1867

I am certain they died around 1907/9 and believe they are buried in a Catholic Cemetery in Calgary... I have the death certs from the Missouri Archives for Mother Kate d. 1910 and Sister Annie d. 1920....at Cass Avenue St. Louis (Independant City)

I have failed to find the death cert for Father Thomas Edward Monaghan who died before 1870 as he doesn't appear on the census for that year.... and may have died during the Civil War.
Any help would greatly appreciated Cool Cool.

Is the Calgary you mentioned in Canada or Missouri?

This is a link to death indexes of the St. Louis Post Dispatch held at the St. Louis Public Library.  There is an entry for a Thomas Monahan in 1907 (taken from the burial permit 11/4/07).  Also a couple for a John J Monaghan in 1909, (taken from the burial permit 12/20/09), and John J Monahan, 8/28/09 and also taken from the burial permit on 8/30/09.  You might want to look through the listings and maybe email the library for copies.

WoW....Lissa....I've never seen that one before Cool Cool Cool....Does it not give age or nationality?.....Thanks so much you're  a star...I really appreciate your help....The only other info I have is a possible immigration in 1861 on the Escort but he uses the name Edward..... or the Orient in 1859.... but Kate and Anna/Annie are not with him Huh...They arrive on the S.S. Edinburgh from Liverpool in May 1861

Carol,  Alas, no age!!!  that would just make things way too easy, wouldn't it Huh 

But maybe you will be able to validate now that there is a specific date, address and the library reference no. 

At the St. Louis Public Library link that Genealiza gave you, you may be able to get a look-up for more info.

or maybe at the Archdiocese of St. Louis  or with Calvary Cemetery
