Anyone out there researching the family of John Burns born in 1893 Old Monklands, moved to Edinburgh married Susan Lister Hume Finnie 1917 in St Patrick's RC Church died 1948.

John's parents were William John Kelly and Agnes McFarlane
Susan's parents were Charles Finnie and Agnes Davidson Hume.

Hi Frances,

I don't have info on John Burns but I do for Susan.  Susan was my grandfather's older sister.  Susan was born 1896 and my grandfather Charles Thomas Finnie in 1907 he had a twin Margaret.  There was also Theresa (1898), Sarah (1900), Agnes (1902), Elizabeth (1904), Mary (1909) and David (1913).  Hope this helps you.

Thank you very much for the info. Susan Finnie was my grandmother. Her brother (your grandfather)would have been my dad's uncle. I don't know what that makes us ?  Undecided
