Isaac Moon born in Goosey, Berkshire abt 1855
Sarah Annie Moon born in Childrey, Berkshire abt 1853
Melita Mary A Moon born in Faringdon, Berkshire abt 1883
Isaac and Sarah married in 1882 in Wantage. By 1901 they were in West Bromwich, Staffs
I can't find them on the 1891 census.
I wondered whether any eagle-eyed Rootschatters might be able to help me? Thanks in advance.

Glad to be of help
the name is clearly MOON on the census
Tip if you know the names of the family enter the childs first name ONLY in the search do NOT enter any surname.
Then enter ONLY the first name of both parents
Then enter a county
then Search
You quite often come up with an obvious mistranscribed record that is obvious & very easily to pick out

Hi Janet, I am Descended from Joseph Moon of Holcombe Circa 1780 who is the great grandfather of your Isaac. Whilst I have the usual census information about the moon family I do not have an address for them at Goosey, perhaps you can help? I do have however a couple of pictures of Melita, one in cap and gown on the front of a newspaper and another of her at a desk. The actual 1881 census for Goosey was taken by Isaac and I have a copy with his signature on. I am happy to exchange information with you if you wish, either direct or through this site.

Hi distant relative! I was a Moon until I married. Which of Joseph Moon's children do you descend from?
The only info I have is from the 1871 census which has them living at "80 Goosey". I imagine that Goosey was a small village so wouldn't have had street names. My mother-in-law lives in a hamlet where she is just addressed as number and village name.
Thanks for the offer of the photo/signature but I don't have anything to offer you in return for them.
