I have been given the following information  Lionel Percy Robson Sayer married Nancy Gibb   in Kirkmichael    1931   Lionel I believe is my Grandfathers brother     his name  is correct  ( he added the Robson  and that was his mothers maiden name)  he lied about his parents  Stated that George Burton Sayers was his father  this actually was is uncle   the mother stated was  the  first names of his cousin )  Was not from Australia Only truth he gave was his name age and his parent were deceased

UPDATE August 1 2008   I have found out that  he was married before in 1918 In Cork Ireland   Went to Scotland  first son born 1919  and a daughter in 1920    Edinburgh   Deserted the army and his family  mid 1920's   There is a possibily he was a seaman for awhile
Know that he must have left or divorced his second wife as she died in 1945 under the name Jenning   in  Glasgow   

What happened to Lionel later in life    any assitance would be appreciated
