I have found her in 1871 but husband is not with her so have also traced her in 1861. Husband is John.

There is a James Snow who fits lodging in Linsted - he is a labourer.

Interestingly there is a death reg of a John Snow age 41 Croyden Dec 77 but then there is daug Mary age 18 months on 81 census .

Thanks both of you for the help - we were posting at the same time - all appears to fit - and gives me a family for the wife of
another of my Kent Hales . Edward Hales / Hannah Snow married Croyden Dec 1896 and are in Penge Surrey in 1901.
