Edom Dentom 1868 Penistone Wortley

Is there anyone able to find Edom in 1871, 1891 and 1901.

In 1881 Edom was 13 and living with his mother Maria and several siblings in the household of Joseph Walton. Maria was an umarried housekeeper and it would appear that he was the farther of these children. Cannot find a marriage for her or the family in 1891.

At some point Edom moved South and married my gt aunt Alice Winepress in 1902.

Thankyou for those details. So Maria had another 3 children by Joseph before he made an honest woman of her. At last he came to his senses!!

Just realised that I didn't add that my gt aunt was from Enfield MIddx.
Is there any chance Edom could be found 1891 or 1901.

Looks like Edith wasnt Josephs daughter , as this looks a possible death for joseph

Wonder if Edom was Josephs too -as there is a Walton child younger than Edom?

Cant locate Edom in other census -tried variations on name?

Have Maria in 1901 if you need that

I am really more interested in Edom than his family, they are an added bonus. His mother definately led a colourful life.

Will keep looking and maybe get the marriage cert at some point, nothing seems to be known about Edom and Alice. Even my mum dosen't remember her gran speaking about this sister Alice.
