Has anyone come across the name 'Worthy George Grist' born in Warminster in about 1889? Is Worthy a name local to that area only please?

Looking at the 1891 census, it seems that Worthy was not uncommon as a christian name in many parts of the UK but especially Somerset, Wiltshire, Gloucestershire.

Your Worthy George Grist was not the only person with that name in Warminster. He is there with parents Frank and Ann but there is another, born 1891 with parents James and Mary Ann.

In my Fishlock ancestors of north Wiltshire, in two generations there are 2 Worthys, 3 Junias and 3 Elvers all of which are not too uncommon in Wiltshire.   In the 1881 census there are 134 Worthys born in Wiltshire, 4 Elvers and 2 Junias.
