My family tree has this name in it.
As i have Mark Bishop married Hephzibah Haines
and had Eli Bishop, and a few other childeren.
the book page for this is 89/398
Mark and Hephzibah are buried in the Mitcham General Cemetary I belive which is in South Australia.

Sorry Yes I was refering to the books nd pages From SOUth Australia.
I am not sure what they really mean other than I have had someone hleping me and I am trying to find my family links of Bishops that are from the Fifth creek in Norwood District,
Also the Sapro Book page932 on Page 349 in the year of 1914 is the last info I have on the family.
I have been looking for two years to find the family line with someone else.
Sorry if I have confusedanyone.

I am a direct descendant of the HAINES Family, Ellen being my Great Grandmother, but I don't have any information on BISHOP. If you require anything on the HAINES please let me know. PM preferrably. I find it a tad 'off' that you have referred Wateringfalls to another family history forum with the comment "I have found them to be of great assistance". We are very helpful here on the Emigrants to Australian board....but can't help people if they don't place actual requests for help 
Wateringfalls can we help you in any way and if so please place a request...as so far you just seem to be giving us your family data.

I am sorry I did not mean to cause any trouble, yes please may I have help from anyone that can helpin finding my side would be greatful.
I know I posted on here late last year but I only just found it again and posted new info that I got.
I came across another with a name that I have in my line so I just put in the family info, I really dont know much about finding people in these book and things, all the help I have had so far is from people like yourselves that are kind enough to help.
I have not meant to put anyone in the wrong, for this I am sorry.
But I thought that I had asked for help when I replyed to one of the people that had already posted, but it didnt load up as I have now found out.It was Lily girl as she had info that I had not.

Please please Wateringfalls ..... no trouble at all....we can't help you with any part of your tree if you don't ask..... so if you need some help type up your request. It can be daunting when you first post on forums so....small steps

Basically I have nothing on Carl Mark Bishop Also see John Authur Moore ( amy have depoled to this, he was born in 1914 I believe.
As he was my Grandfather but I have no information to find this line fo my family.
He may or May not have married my Mothers Mother Doreen MAy Ward/Rutherford/Bishop/Weston
as she changed her name when she got married to Rutherford,her first marriage, then I know that she was last known by Weston the family came from south Australia, they moved to Queensland Townsville to Charters Towers.
Carl aslo went by Mark Carl Bishop to so it amy be hard to trace.I was told he may have gone to live in NSW his family being farmers?

Wateringfalls an extract from the Biographical Index of South Australians 1836-1885....I use it as a guide as it isn't always 100% accurate.
BISHOP Mark - parents James and Jane, was born 1847 Woodbine, ENG and died 27 Jul 1914 Parkside. He is buried in the Mitcham Cemetery.
Occupation Labourer and he lived at Clarendon.
Married on 15 Nov 1871 at Kangarille, SA Hephzibah nee HAINES whose father was Thomas. She was born 25 Dec 1850 Adelaide SA and died 10 Jul 1924 at Clarence Park SA

Albert [1872-1934], John 1874-], Elizabeth June Zelmar [1877-], Ed, Eli, Dell, Rachel [1881-1881], Herbert James Thomas [1882-], William, Walter

Have you any certificates for your mother or grandmother? In which state did they marry and when? The marriage index finishes at 1937 and in NSW 1957 and Qld 1929 so no records are available after these dates.
I can't see a record for Carl Mark BISHOP on the electoral roll for 1936...he would have been old enough to vote but looks as though he didn't enrol ie if he was in NSW or Qld. SA rolls are not available online for 1936.
