Jim  my toes didn't feel a thing. I felt it was inappropriate to refer a 'chatter, who had made no particular requests for assistance, to another family history forum, that you had found most helpful.

Rootchat and Rootsweb are separate entities.  My understanding is the latter is now part of the Ancestry group.

You had the option to use the pm facility if you felt we were not being helpful to Wateringfalls.

Let's move on.  Perhaps you can help her with her search.

Cheers

I have always been under the impression that Rootsweb and Rootschat where under the same auspices.    Besides, what is genealogy about if we can't help each other find their information.

Jim  none  of us  move  forward to go backwards  without  the  help  of our fellow genealogists, but the two groups are totally separate identies, so  I  do  understand  Cando's comments.  She  has  now  helped Wateringfalls  on  her  journey.

Wateringfalls  you  say  you  have  only  book and page  numbers,  these refer to  the  registration details

this  means book 232 page number 730

Here is Doreen's marriage reg

RUTHERFORD Andrew William Aged 24 Status Single Father Andrew John RUTHERFORD
WARD Doreen May Aged 20 Status Single Father John WARD
At Methodist Parsonage Maylands
Ref Nor S 334/137
Her parents marriage

WARD John Aged 28  Status Single  Father John WARD
PASFIELD Blanche Eliza Aged 21 Status Single Father James PASFIELD
10 Aug 1908
At the Institute Hall Streaky Bay
Ref Fli 236/301

Their other children

WARD Harold  8 May 1909 at Streaky Bay
Ref Fli 821/309

WARD John James  1 Jan 1911 at Streaky Bay
Ref Fli 855/291

This could possibly be John WARD's birth...only one in the SA indexes in 1880 with father John

WARD John  10 May 1880
Father John WARD  Mother Bridget MORAN
At Port Adelaide
Ref PtA 241/419

and Blanche

PASFIELD Blanche Eliza  27 Mar 1887
Father James PASFIELD Mother Alice PETERSON
At Unley Park
Ref  Ade 393/376

and death

WARD Blanche Eliza 26 Jun 1955  Aged 68  Status Married
Relative: John WARD [H]
Residence Willaston  Death Place: Willaston
Ref Gaw 828/3796

I can't see a death for a John WARD who would have been a widow and born 1880 from 1955 to 1972 limit of indexes.

Where did Doreen, your grandmother and your mother die?

Have you any certificates at all relating to your family?

Cheers

Death Announcements
Surname: RUTHERFORD
Given name(s): Andrew William
Source date: A 1979

I wonder if this is Doreen's 1st husband.

Wateringfalls  I am unable to help you any further with your family history.  You have a the 1st marriage registration for your grandmother and you obviously know about her possible second and third marriages and her death.  Unless any of marriages were in NSW before 1957, there will be no online records for you to search. No marriage records in Qld after 1929.

I am sure your mother's details are known to you Smiley

Cheers
