Can anyone point me in the direction of where I might find the bastardy and poor law records for the above village.
I have visited the Dorset History Centre and can't seem to find anything.
I am specifically looking for the records showing what payment a father has to make for an illegitimate child and payments made to paupers via village funds.

Sorry I can't help but I wanted to post for two reasons. Firstly I'd like to know how to get the kind of information you are looking for (but I am looking for Parkstone) but mostly because you have Stockley in you name list.
