A big thankyou to all who helped me with my quest on the Chingles and all this information is due to Louise.....

Marriage: No 118, On the 23 May 1880 James Chingles aged 20yrs Bachelor (Engineman) of St Hilda's Pit Yard, South Shields, father John Chingles (Fireman) married Esther Wilce aged 18yrs spinster of Tyne Dock,  South Shields, father Elijah Wilce (pitman). Witnesses: John Thomas adn Elizabeth Thomas. Married in the Parish Church of Westoe according to the Rites adn Ceremonies of the Established Church after Banns by E. L. Butcher.

Death: No 203, James Chingles died on th 09 July 1887 at 10 North Street, Westoe, WSD, aged 27yrs, Engineman (Brewery) Cause of death Cirrhosis of Liver certifies by Jas. Drummond, MD. C Eddy present at the death, Heworth Street, Felling. Registered on the 11th July 1887 by James Sedcole.

Birth: No 449, Francis Chingles was born on the 08 October 1880 at 133 Dale Street, Westoe, South Shields, England. Parents were James Chingles (Engineman) and Esther Chingles ne Wilce. Informant: E. Chingles (mother) above address. Registered on the 17th November 1880 by R.S.Robson.

I do intend to follow up on the marriages for Rosetta and Maryann.
