Thank you but I don't think it could be.  She had brother Wm b. 1800, sister Ann.b1819 and sister Jane b. 1823. I realise 1841 age within 5 years but why not 30 if she was 30?   Thanks for the attempt anyway,

hi

I am related to the same Pickards, my gg grandma's sister married Joseph perkins pickard, sarah was Joseph's aunty. , it appears Sarah had 10 siblings.

I think I have found Lucy Pickard in 1841, she is in Chauntry Place, Holy Trinity, Coventry aged 65. occupation is "Picking Poultry", which would tie in as some of her sons were butchers.  She is living with Ann 20, and Henry 20, both ribbon weavers.

Couldn't find a Sarah though.

Julie, Thank you so much.  Yes I did know of Chauntry Place but I still don't know where Sarah was in 1841.   I will send you a personal message.
Great.

not positive but i believe the ages were rounded down so if she was 29 when the census was taken
it would be rounded down to 25 so possible it is her
as i say i am not positive about this
maybe SKS could say if this is right

How sure are you that your Sarah's parents are William & Lucy.
There are 2 in this timeframe the other b.1814.
The 1841 census has Sarah living with Ann possibly her mother. The other Sarah has a mother Susanna,so this could be her.
Wozzle is correct that ages over 15 were rounded down to the nearest 5 but this  didn't always happen.
Do you have her Marriage cert.

Thank you Jim  I am aware that ages could be rounded up or down in 1841,  However she died in 1891 aged 80 which confirms her birth at 1811.  The Census details vary somewhat though she would have been 39 in 1851.
Her marriage details in the RC register gives her father as William Pickard, staymaker and he was married to Lucy Perkins.  She gave her age as 35 in 1851 but I am convinced she was in fact 39.  He was 55 on the marriage certificate but the Census (1851) says 36.  He is in West Orchard in 1841.
She should be in Hill Street but I cannot see her there.

In 1851 Lucy is living with Jane.
HO107/2068/fo.201/p.8
In 1841 Jane is in service, this may be where Sarah is but not entered on the census, this happened quite a lot with servants.
