1861 census - Fraser born Rosemarkie
« on: Saturday 12 July 08 12:50 BST (UK) »

Hi Does anyone have access to 1861 census for Black Isle area and able to tell me if the family of Alexander Fraser and wife Elizabeth nee Cameron were still at Rosemarkie.  Children were Catherine born 1835, William born 1837, Alexander born 1842 and Isobel born 1846.
Thanks, Carmel

Thanks Ellen.  Smiley  Yes it does help and also throws up another query.  Who was Murdone Ross?  Elizabeth's first husband was a Murdo Ross so I'm assuming a grandchild but can't find a connection with 2 sons I have from her first marriage so more work to do.
Best Wishes, Carmel
