I'm with Orange and been online since 8.00 this morning no problems here.

Can't say I've had any problems with Orange in the last month...

I was almost persuaded into going over to Talk Talk until a neighbour told me she signed for the same deal and then found that BT had not 'done the deal' with Talk Talk for this area and now she has no internet at all Angry

Admittedly I haven't tried since 6.45 am this morning so I will try when I get home.  I have also written all the telephone numbers down just in case it is my computer for some odd reason, although some how I doubt it because there does seem to have been a few outages lately.

I did have connections problems some while ago but it was something to do with the modem not Orange. 

My fixit man said to unplug the modem, turn off the pooter, wait 5 mins, turn pooter back on, when desktop shows plug modem back in....and bobs yer uncle, been OK since.

Found out what the problem was

I rang Orange and got a recorded message because of the high volume of calls from people unable to access the internet who use Zone Alarm firewall - the settings for Firewall have been changed to high and you can't get through the firewall  Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

the setting needs to be brought back down to medium.
