I was playing with Google Books yesterday and I came upon a snippet reffering to the burial of a several x great aunt of mine Mary Fryer in 1815 it said 'date' mistress Fryer (courtessy title she wasn't married) aged 87 was buried at Baldock, she was once in service with George II and was in fact there when he died. Does anyone have any suggesstions how I might check this out and find out any more. I have her will which is in the PCC but it is very hard to read, she seems to leave left her estate amongst her neices, nephews and their children.
Any suggestions welcome

I received some wonderful information from the Royal Archives about a relative who worked for Queen Victoria 1843 to 1894 so it is definitely worth a query. From memory it was a couple of months after writing that we had a reply (which included an apology for the delay).
