ATHRELPHO ? SURNAME

I have come across the surname "ATHRELPHO" in and around the Overbury/Bredon areas whilst looking at my family tree!  At first I thought it was just a spelling mistake, however have now discovered a few more!
I have done all the usual census/IGI checks etc but would welcome comments from anyone who has also come across it.  Doesn't seem that usual a Worcestershire surname !

1841 has a number of Athrelpho residents in Somerset.  Some are transcribed as Athrelphe and all were born in county

1871 has a family Athrelphe b Gloucs living in Lincs

If you do an Ancestry search on athre** it will show all possible permutations of the surname in various counties
