Can anybody please help me find a HENRY POULTER born about 1850 in Clerkenwell. Sorry, I do not have any other family members yet. Thanks

May 2007 - Did suggest the son of Charles & Hannah  too, but then it looked like their Henry died 1866..........

On that topic a chatter gave you the following from the 1861 Census:
As they were kind enough to give the name of the streets they were born in I noticed that they should have beeen in Onslow Street Holborn 1861.
RG9/187 folio 77          7 Onslow Street Holborn
Henry Poulter 41 Glass cutter
Mary Ann 32
Both born Clerkenwell
No children listed.

I just found that couple - It is definitely 1861 (RG9) but actually the correct reference is : 
RG9 /  Piece: 187 /  Folio: 76 /  Pg 81
And the name is enumerated clearly as POULTON, not POULTER!

But.............I think you believe that information came from the 1891  (you had requested an 1891 lookup) Huh  Huh

I only have the address and occupation for 1891. The address being 7 Onslow Street, Clerkenwell, and his occupation was a glass-cutter. He was married by then to a Mary Ann Skibley born about 1859 in Clerkenwell, they married in 1872 in Lambeth. They did have a child named Walter in 1872 but he was not with them in 1891.
(not to mention that Mary Ann born 1859 is unlikely to marry 1872 age 13!!)

so...... Is Walter POULTER born 1872 Holborn, your starting point?  Does his marriage say his father is named Henry?
