Marriage Lookup Birmingham area please

Hi

I am researching one of my maternal branches and having trouble finding a marriage.  Unfortunately like most other families there is more than one in the family with the same name!

I am trying to find marriages for a Frank Loffman probably of Birmingham, but in the Warickshire area.  I have found one in 1927 but it is not the one I'm looking for tho it is a relation.

I'm looking in the late 1800s or 1900s please if anyone can help me.

Have you looked for him in 1881, 1891 1900 census?  they'd give his wife and kids if there were any...good place to start.

If you ask for a lookup you'll need to give his birth year &/ or birth place.

Timetraveller, I'm researching Luffman and variants; I know that at some time in the 19th century Luffmans migrated from the south of England, probably Hampshire to the West Midlands and that eventually their surname became Loffman. Perhaps we should get our heads together. Please pm me if you agree.

The simplest way would seem to be for me to send you a GEDCOM file of my Luffman tree. Do you use Legacy 7?PM me your email address and I'll send it through.

I don't use gedcom.  I have Family Tree maker.

I think you mean Legacy Paul, most if not all programs have a GEDCOM facility. Will despatch it in the next few minutes.
