Hi Nipy, i know the first family member i have buried there was  in 1914( i could have others before that but not found any as yet ) and i am sure there must have been others before? They also call the cemetery in Bohermore the new one too? It might be worth getting in contact with them and asking  what year it opened? I know it is almost full. I don't think there much space left it you are thinking of reserving a plot Shocked  Grin

Nipy, if you every go to Bohermore, look out for the groundsman, he is a really great help to people , but go with as much info as possible to make it a little easer for him. He originally comes from the Manchester area in England. Also there are many famous people buried there too if you ask him about one or two.
like this one. This just one and i make no statement's as to it what so ever, if you follow me.

Sorry Nipy, yes it is fairly large. It is divided in two half, R.C. one side and C-of-I and others on the others. it is well maintained as are many i have found in Ireland. If you do get time to speak to the groundsman, he can give you great information of the cemetery.
good luck and hope you find your family members there.
