been having no luck trying to find  the  parents as i think john knight is his dad but  john knight i can find married  mary anne williams  on the igi he had john knight and elizabeth but cant a marriage  im thinking hes remarried as mary anne william died 1843  and john m knight born 1844 any help please thanks rob

John Moyse Knight father seems to be John Knight butcher in 1851 and appears on 1841 census with wife Elizabeth the most likely death for Elizabeth I have found is Deaths Dec 1849 Knight Elizabeth St Austell 9   4 making his mother Elizabeth - St Austell covers Tywardreath and the most likely birth I have found for John is Births Mar 1844   
KNIGHT    John Mors    St Austel 9   21   which again covers    Tywardreath
The best way forward is to order the birth cert of John Mors Knight which will give you Elizabeths maiden name I found it http://freebmd.rootsweb.com but also matches IGI which again gives parents as John and Elizabeth Smiley

John KNIGHT = Elizabeth WILLIAMS 14 Aug 1825 Tywardreath

I note one of the children had the middle name Williams

No wife Mary Ann - a different John Knight married Maria Williams in Roche in 1826 - at least 3 children born to John and Elizabeth in St Blazey before Tywardreath baptisms

Baptisms St Blazey

Elizabeth 28 Dec 1828
Samuel Joseph 8 Aug 1830
John 7 Apr 1833 buried 29 Nov 1835 Tywardreath aged 2 years

Baptisms Tywardreath

Jane 3 May 1835
Mary Ann Grace 11 Jun 1837
Margaret Williams 7 Apr 1839
Jane 29 Nov 1840
John Mors 7 Apr 1844

These baptisms all agree with the census and mother for all is Elizabeth

thanks for that what got me john middle name was moyse and his son reginald  had same middle name  but coundt find a moyse in the knight family  maybe it  his grans name i dont know  will look intop the family a bit more rob
