Just tried to register, but got an error message. HOWEVER, I've had a look at the Site Tour and they are pretty clear about what is and is not on the site (despite the typos!). They say the years 1866-1920 and 1984-2002 are fully transcribed and 1921-1983 are partially transcribed - perhaps they mean partially INDEXED, which is why some of you can't find yourselves?
In principal, I object to the pay-per-view sites, but in this instance the dates that are fully transcribed contain some of my brick walls, so I will give it a go when I can get registered and see how it fares compared to 1837online.

The free search for 1921-1983 doesn't even produce results for the surname and forename you type in.
Then look at their site tour where they give an example of searching for John Murray. The result... no John Murray. Look at line 3 on this James Murray to the left, George Musgarve to the right. What do you get if you click the view image icon?
Not very promising so far

John Murrey is between James Murrey and George Musgrove, If you click on the image I presume you get a list of names starting with James Murrey and ending with George Musgrove with John Murrey somewhere in between.

I haven't bought any credits from them, Just registered with them before they went live. They in fact sent me 2 different e-mails today both including the offer. One of them does sound like the welcoming e-mail i would of expected a couple of months ago when they first went on-line but didn't receive which has put me off them a bit.

I read the post about the Family Relatives site with interest and decided to give it a try. I was able to register and purchase credits. I found a few of the names in the 1866-1920 section that I had not been able to find in the FreeBMD which was marvelous.
When I looked for a woman's marriage I found it interesting that a lot of the woman who popped up had the husband's last name listed next to theirs.
Overall it was fairly well done and I can't wait for 1837-65 to come online so I can find some more elusive relations.
