Hello June i have just had a quick look on the I.G.I. I never noticed if it had a source on not. I did find a few Jane Williamson born in 1817 in various parts of England.
Can you tell me what part of Cheshire Pottshrigley is in. I have never come across that name before

Hi Celia I think its a lost cause I am going to search through the early census at macclesfield library Potts Shrigley is about three or four miles from Mcclesfield and 1/2 a mile out of Bollington it has two halls Pott Hall and Shrigley Hall where most of the residents worked. Shrigley hall was connected by a marriage to Lyme Hall, which ground stretched onto the Shrigley estate.so servanrs migrated between the  two there was also a mining community well maybe you will be lucky thanks for taking time June Cheesy
