If anyone is visiting Libindx and have time could they try and find two sisters who came over from America to live with their uncle after their mother died.  Their uncle had also lived in America.   I have them in the 1901 census living in Main Street, New Elgin.  I am trying to find if the father registered them or if it was the uncle and if there is any other information that might tell me when they came over from America.

They returned to New York in 1906.  Any school record would be great.  The uncle went on to live in Burghead so the school could be New Elgin or Burghead.

The children's names are Annabella born 1895 and Edith May born 1897 (McKenzie).  The uncle was George and the father William McKenzie.
