Christopher. in 1641 a mass expulsion of protestants took place all over Ulster against the wishes of the uprising leadership.

Thanks for your message.

I live in Ulster and have a rough idea of its history. There's not a board for Ulster which is why I opened this thread so members interested in Cavan could have a rough idea of events that happened in the county.

The nine counties of Ulster are ... Antrim, Armagh, Cavan, Derry (Londonderry), Donegal, Down, Fermanagh, Monaghan and Tyrone

The State of Northern Ireland, which came into being in 1922, doesn't include Cavan, Donegal and Monghan.
