I am looking at the Rand Family from Kidlington . Robert Rand became master of the workhouse in kidlington 1735. he would have been born abt 1710. ( he would have to be at least 21 to get the job.) the job was contracted out by the parish. how far did the advertise the post was it just in the oxford area or did the go further a field . were did he come from. thank you.
