There already is a mention of the Maori Wars on BerlinBob's database. I note that you refer to them as the NZ Wars — is that the correct term nowadays? I must have been away too long!

Hi Stephanie
That's an interesting link. NZ Land Wars would help describe the conflicts to someone who had never heard of them before — I agree that the old name has a feel of colonialism about it. I had one of Keith Sinclair's books as a text book at school, so it's all his fault!
