Can anyone explain why if someone gets married say in Worcestershire - why does it have on ancestry next to marriage details on right hand side after DISTRICT i.e. Evesham it then says COUNTY Herefordshire, Worcs and Glos?

its typically because a Registration District spans those counties (being on the borders) & has at some time covered parishes and places in all the named counties ...
eg: The district Evesham spans the boundaries of the counties of Gloucestershire, Hereford and Worcester and Worcestershire; information about it can be found here.
