You lot have certainly been busy while I was out! Well done!

I remembered I had seen REBEKAH  as the mother of William on IGI Christening: 19 JUN 1837 Myrtle Grove Independent, Eastwood By Todmorden, Birth:  19 SEP 1834 but there is also the same baptismal entry with Joseph and Ann as parents but different date of birth:  22 AUG 1835.  If Rebecca was married why would the father's name not be recorded on William's? John was born years later so he must have still been alive.

There is a death for Rebecca in Jun qtr 1873  Haslingden aged 64 which would fit with William living with his brother in 1881.
