Death of RICHARD FISHER before 1841/2

Have just received death cert. for ANN FISHER, widow of Richard Fisher, carpet weaver, James Place, Collier St., Myton, Kingston upon Hull, Jan. 14th 1842.

Ann nee Simms, and Richard were married acc. to IGI, Jan. 1797 Nafferton.
They had at least 6/7 children, incl. Richard in 1807 and Sims C1814/15.
Sims is the informant on the death cert. - same address.
In the 1841 census Ann  age 65 is living on her own, with Sims, his wife Frances, and child Ann.

I have trawled through FMP deaths for Richard 1837 - 1841, also Hull BMDs,  and Fam.history on line, without success.
Could anyone help me find his death?
Alternatively suggest where I might look?

If he died before 1837 you would be dependant on parish record entries

As Richard was married in Nafferton, have you discounted the Freebmd death entry for a Richard Fisher in the March 1/4 of 1841 in Bridlington district.

I did note the death in Bridlington, did not realise until I consulted a map, how close Nafferton was to Bridlington.
