William J. WOODCOCK
« on: Thursday 17 July 08 22:46 BST (UK) »

Hello

I have a William J. Woodcock who married a woman with the surname BOYCE in the March quarter of 1919, in Evesham.
Would anyone out there who has access to the 1901 census please be able to see if they could locate William and his parents? There is a possibility of this William being linked to the Woodcocks of Solihull, Warwickshire.

Many thanks
Rachel

Hi, I've found out more information. He was William James Woodcock, born 1897, March quarter, in Evesham.
Is any kind soul out there able to find him on the 1901 census for me with his parents?

Many thanks!  Smiley

 you have the birth index
might not be a bad idea to send for the cert
you would then know the parents names and maiden name of the mother you woud then have a better chance of pinning him down in the 1901 census
