Sniffing out the ancestors

Alexander Gall born 21st September 1854 and christened 15th October 1854 in Douglas, Lanarkshire. Parents James Gall and Ann Young. Not shown with his parents in the 1861 - 1871 - 1881 - 1891 - 1901 and cannot find in any Census.

He had a sibling Alexander Gall Born 3rd Feb 1853 and died at 9 months old with consumption in Oct 1853 in Douglas (this is to stop confusion)

I have a MI for St Bride's, Douglas, the transcription reads:
erected by James Gall died 7.10.1911, 86, to children
Alex 10.10.1853, Agnes 12.4.1857, both infants.
Alex 20.2.1859, 4 1/2 years,
wife Anne Young 30.7.1884, 57
daughter Agnes Dodds 13.2.1951, 89.

Hi All

Thanks for your help it has certainly completed my search in Douglas for this family and has also answered a question I had with the birth of a Miss Gall on the 12 April 1857 who now turns out to be Agnes
